Harold Dull, is the president of the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA), and the creator of Watsu®, Tantsu®, Co-centering and Watsu CQ. Harold has been formed with the head teacher of Zen Shiatsu in Japan, Shizuto Masunaga (author of “Zen Shiatsu”), and the two major teachers in America, Reuho Yamada and Wataru Ohashi.
He has been honored with the International Aquatics Award from the Association of Aquatic Body Welfare of the United States; honored at the National Aquatic Exercise Conference in Japan; and in 1998 he was awarded the Spirit Award Tsunami Institute of Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation. After returning from Japan, Dull begins to teach and develop in a gradual process over the Watsu® Shiatsu.
The application of Shiatsu in the water environment evolved progressively: by moving the water table in the beginning, to use eventually the therapist’s body as the only support itself. To complete their training, the student is urged Watsu® to, once integrated movements and number of possible sequences, hear the intrinsic and spontaneous movement of the body and accompany this need, as called Free Flow Dull.
