This modality is also suitable for individuals experiencing general tension and stress-related symptoms, as well as for the elderly requiring gentle support and massage, focusing on hips, lumbar area, and limb work. TAdE is performed on the water’s surface.

INSTRUCTOR
Sophie Costes
Initially an Ayurvedic therapist, Sophie practised and led courses in Europe and Asia, continent where
she lived until 2011. During this time, she trained and became a Watsu® and WaterDance® practitioner, following her passion for conscious and therapeutic touch on land and in warm water.
During the last five years, her studies in psycho-somatic therapies (TCI) and her former leadership of ‘ContactDance’ in water at international dance festivals, led her to a personal way of sharing her aquatic modality: Waterness Journey™.
Sophie’s goal is to convey within her courses, body awareness practices in conjunction with specific body mechanics and support, as well as the ability to flow freely in sync with breath work – leading to rich and interactive communication between water partners.
ASSISTANT
Silvia Sánchez Caballero
Her relationship with water begins in childhood by using its healing and transforming power before knowing the scientific evidence that ratifies it.
She studied at the Watsupath™ Training Institute, becoming a Watsu®, Waterness Journey™ and Craniosacral Therapy in Water® Practitioner. She’s a Craniosacral Biodynamic Therapy student as well.
She acquires a multitude of resources with her training in Chiromassage, Thai & Holistic Massage, Foot Reflexology, Wood Therapy and Kobido Massage; the integration of technique with her experience and human qualities makes her work respond and adapt to the specific body needs and emotional support of each person.
As part of the Watsupath™ Training Institute team, she assists Sophie Costes in the Waterness Journey™ classes.
