CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY IN WATER · MODULE 3 (5 DAYS, 50 HOURS)

In the final level of the Craniosacral Therapy in Water pathway, listening expands toward a deeper understanding of the body as an integrated system in which structure, function, emotion, and expression are part of a single, continuous process.

The Avenue of Expression explores the cranio-cervical-facial complex, including the palate, tongue, jaw, temporomandibular joint and related structures, as a key territory of communication, adaptation, and bodily organization.

Beyond the application of specific techniques, this module deepens the practitioner’s capacity to perceive, accompany, and engage in dialogue with tissues, physiological rhythms, and the body’s responses through presence and attentive listening.

Through both surface work and underwater (360°) approaches, we integrate different forms of therapeutic communication, expanding the practitioner’s ability to hold complex processes and support the body in its path toward health.

CONTENTS

  • The Avenue of Expression: cranio-cervical-facial complex, jaw, tongue, palate, vomer and related structures.
  • Local and global unwinding techniques.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS MODULE?

This third module completes the in-person stage of the Craniosacral Therapy in Watertraining pathway, integrating global body assessment, systemic work, evidence-based practice, and the support of complex processes of physiological reorganization.

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

• Understand the neuroanatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the cranio-cervical-facial complex and its relationship with the craniosacral system, fascial system, and the body’s overall organization.

• Assess and facilitate the release of structures related to the Avenue of Expression: thoracic inlet, jaw, tongue, palate, vomer, facial structures, and associated tissues.

• Apply advanced local and global unwinding techniques, following the spontaneous movements of the tissues and the body’s inherent responses.

• Deepen the principles of Somatoemotional® Release, developing resources to safely support processes related to body memory, expression, and reorganization.

• Integrate surface and underwater therapeutic work through 360° continuity, exploring breathing dynamics, adaptation to the underwater environment, and three-dimensional movement.

• Incorporate principles of evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and applied research methodology within Craniosacral Therapy in Water.

• Design and develop the initial clinical case framework required to complete professional certification.

• Develop greater autonomy to facilitate full sessions from an integrated, safe, and health-centered practice.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?

This advanced module is designed for students who have completed Craniosacral Therapy in Water Module 2 and wish to consolidate a more integrated, precise, and autonomous clinical practice.

It is particularly intended for professionals who want to:

  • Deepen their ability to assess the body as a whole, interconnected system.
  • Learn to support local and global unwinding processes through tissue listening and physiological rhythm perception.
  • Expand their skills in Somatoemotional® Release and therapeutic communication.
  • Integrate structural, fascial, craniosacral, and emotional work within a single session.
  • Develop confidence in following the body’s Inherent Treatment Plan, beyond predefined protocols or sequences.
  • Complete their training pathway toward certification as a Professional in Craniosacral Therapy in Water.
PREREQUISITES

  • Have completed Craniosacral Therapy in Water Module 2.
  • Have integrated the practice through both providing and received sessions, and/or supervised practice.
  • Complete the preparatory learning pathway available on the learning platform prior to the start of the training.

This class will be taught in Spanish and English.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of this module, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation issued by the Watsupath Training Institute, certifying the hours completed. In addition, the credits corresponding to this training will be added to the student’s digital academic record in the International W.A.B.A. Registry and will form part of the student’s official professional training.

To fulfill the certification and registration as Craniosacral Therapy in WaterPractitioner it is required to complete all established requirements of the 200-hour program, including supervisions and the development of the final clinical case study.

INSTRUCTOR

Her work integrates evidence-based physiotherapy, psychosomatic medicine, neurophysiology, and advanced aquatic therapies, through a systemic, sensitive, and deeply embodied perspective.

She is the creator of Craniosacral Therapy in Water (CST in Water) and the founder of the Watsupath Training Institute, an international space for research, clinical practice, and knowledge transmission. Elisa is one of the few accredited instructors authorized to teach Clinical Watsu® 3, recognized for her contribution to the understanding of fascia as a system, trauma integration, and self-regulatory processes in water.

Specialized in pediatric physiotherapy, psychotherapy and advanced manual therapy, she combines clinical practice with university teaching and scientific research, actively contributing to peer-reviewed publications and international conferences. Her way of teaching and accompanying is defined by precision, deep listening, and respect for the body’s rhythms, embodying a curious, complex, and creative mind committed to clinical excellence and profound human care.
