COURSE CONTENTS
This course focuses on the 5 elements theory and major shiatsu points.
In the “Aquatic Shiatsu (Fire and Water II)” course, participants deepen their understanding of Eastern philosophy and the Five Elements Theory —wood, fire, earth, metal, and water—while cultivating rapport with clients.
This course emphasizes recognizing everyone’s elemental nature to foster self-awareness, avoid judgment, and enhance wellness.
Through practical applications on land and in water, including assessment questions, meridian studies, and session feedback, students learn to evaluate and connect with clients. They explore the benefits of meridians and points, identify deficiencies (Kyo) and excesses (Jitsu), and apply their knowledge in creating personalized healing expressions or “free style,” rooted in Oriental theory.
The course encourages sharing insights and responsibilities for healing, aiming for collaborative wellness and a balanced approach to understanding both chronic and acute conditions related to the five elements.
