Sophie Costes, who trained as a certified Ayurveda therapist, practices and teaches courses in Europe, Japan and India, where she lived until 2011. During this time, she trained and completed the titles of Watsu® and Waterdance®, following her passion for conscious and therapeutic touch on land and in hot water.
Sophie was giving individual sessions for several years at WatsuGoa® before settling on WatsuIbiza®.
For the past three years, he has led “ContactDance” workshops on water at international dance festivals.
Integrating all these experiences, he decided to create Waterness Journey ™, an aquatic modality that combines somatic practices, body mechanics and synchronization-free movement with the work of breathing – leading to a rich and interactive communication between couples in water.
The practice of meditation and dance contribute significantly to your therapeutic approach to water. Two important aspects of his training are intuition and improvisation, which, associated with the technique, deeply benefit liberation and learning.
