Watsu® is a form of aquatic bodywork that combines the benefits of water at 34ºC with the Shiatsu blessings. In a Watsu® session the receiver floats on their back with eyes closed and ears underwater while being supported by the therapist and accompanied through a series of gentle movements, stretches and pressures.
The movements vary from flexion to extension with traction and rotation. Its many benefits include increased range of motion, improved breathing, emotional release, improved posture and body awareness, enhanced self-esteem and aid with sleep and fatigue (Mary Essert©).

COURSE CONTENTS (3 days, 34 hours)
This course continues the materials presented in Basic Watsu® (2 days, 16hrs), and both together represent Watsu® 1 course (50hrs).
Watsu® Transition Flow introduces basic moves and positions, the principals of water, body mechanics, connection to the breath and an introduction to land based Shiatsu. Students apply all they have experienced and learned to a simple form that connects all the major positions of Watsu with long, graceful flowing transitions.

Having completed at least a Basic Watsu® credited by Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association. If you have been student with any of the IS-Watsu Instructors, please, email us to email@example.com. The class will be taught in English and Spanish
At the end of the class you will receive a Certificate issued by Watsupath™ Training Institute and the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association W.A.B.A.

We recommend arriving at least fifteen minutes before beginning of the class to complete your registration and familiarize yourself with the facility. The daily class schedule will be communicated to you on the first day of class (indicatively every day from 9:00 to 19:00, with a lunch break).
We will need every single hour of the class, so please do your best to arrive in time and organize your travel back home in such a way that you won’t need to leave before the end of class. Any hour missed during the class must be recovered with individual supervisions.

The registration fee includes all tuition fees, learning materials and the assistance during class hours. It does not however include travel expenses, food and lodging costs, or the use of all class related facilities (See the following paragraph Facility Cost).

Aqua Club Termal will make its facilities available for the exclusive use of students enrolled in this course. The fee for the use of the facilities is 15 Euros/day (a total of 45 Euros).
The balance for the five days must be paid on the first day, before the start of the course and in cash, to the Instructor’s assistant.
The cafeteria of Aqua Club Termal offers the option of a menu with the whole group at lunchtime. There are also bars and restaurants in the surrounding area that showcase the rich gastronomy and culture of the island, a supermarket and a shopping centre. You can also bring your own lunch if you wish.
The island has so much accommodation on offer that you are sure to find what you are looking for. In the vicinity of Aqua Club Termal there are plenty of hotels, flats and rooms. Modern, classic, rural, by the sea, …, a huge offer at your disposal.
